FIND MY AI VOICE · PROJECT GUIDE
AI voices for software tutorials and screen recordings
A software tutorial succeeds when the listener can follow the next action without replaying the last sentence. Choose an AI voice that leaves room for interface labels, pauses and unfamiliar terminology rather than rushing through a polished sales read.

Match narration to the screen
Write one action per sentence. Name the control before describing the result, and leave a short pause while the viewer finds it. A calm delivery can help a first-time user; a more conversational delivery may fit a quick feature tour. The previews below use different scripts, so treat them as examples of vocal character rather than a controlled comparison.
Test interface labels before a full recording
Audition the product name, abbreviations, version numbers and unusual menu labels together. Listen for a distinction between a file name and an instruction. If a label sounds wrong, adjust spelling or pronunciation in the generation workflow before producing a long sequence. Check the final result beside the screen capture: pacing that works in isolation can still get ahead of the cursor.
Keep updates manageable
Record or generate a separate narration segment for each task. When the interface changes, you can replace that task rather than rebuilding an entire course. Keep a small reference passage and your approved generation settings so later updates can be checked against the same tone. Review every final segment for accuracy; an AI voice does not verify the instructions.
A short script to audition
Copy this example or replace it with a passage from your own project. It is written audition text, not a recording or a claim about the samples above.
Open Settings, then select Team members. Choose Invite, enter the new member’s email address, and select a role. Before sending the invitation, check that the permissions match the work they need to do.
Listen for these details
- Can you distinguish every menu label?
- Does the narration leave enough time for each screen action?
- Are acronyms and product names pronounced consistently?
